Working around occupied homes and an active construction programme, the team kept safe zones in place throughout and finished on programme — eliminating the rockfall risk and supporting Stonefields' continued growth.

What made this difficult

A large-scale residential development at Stonefields needed steep volcanic slopes stabilised to stop rockfall reaching the properties and roads below. Over 19,000m² of slope face required protection. The work had to be delivered around an active construction programme and occupied homes, with tight constraints on access and disruption.
