Slip repair & make-safe
Reinstating failed slopes, from first make-safe to engineered permanent repair.
What it does
A slip does not stop moving on its own. The exposed scarp keeps taking on water and shedding material with every rain event until the face is stabilised. We make the site safe, work with your engineer on a permanent design, and rebuild the slope so it holds.
Methodology
How the work runs
Every stage is matched to the engineer’s design and the conditions found on the face.
- 01
Make safe
Debris is removed or benched, water is diverted off the scarp, and the face is covered where saturation is the immediate risk.
- 02
Engineering design
We work with your geotechnical engineer to confirm the failure mechanism and agree the permanent repair: nails, anchors, regrade or a combination.
- 03
Stabilisation works
The slope is rebuilt to the design: reinforcement installed, drainage placed, and fill compacted in controlled layers.
- 04
Surface protection and sign-off
The face is finished with mesh, matting or planting, and the completed works are inspected and signed off by the engineer.

Questions
Common questions
How do I know if my property needs slope stabilization?+
Signs like cracks in the soil, leaning retaining walls, surface erosion, or recent slips are indicators of slope instability. If you're unsure, we can conduct a site inspection to assess the risks and recommend the right solution.
Do you work with EQC for slip repairs?+
Yes, we have extensive experience with EQC-related repairs. We follow EQC guidelines and work with homeowners, insurers, and engineers to restore and stabilize affected land after slips or heavy rain events.
Can you provide emergency services during severe weather?+
Yes, we offer emergency response work during and after heavy rain events. Our team can quickly assess slope failures, remove debris, and implement temporary stabilisation to prevent further damage.
